Ground-Breaking American Treatise on Water Law Kinney, Clesson S. A Treatise on the Law of Irrigation and Water Rights and the Arid Region Doctrine of Appropriation of Waters, As the Same is in Force in the States of the Arid and Semi-Arid Regions of the United States; And also Including an Abstract of the Statutes of the Respective States, and the Decisions of the Courts Relating to Those Subjects. Treatise on Law covers Questions of the Summa Theologica Part 1, it is a short but extraordinary set of questions from the 'Summa Theologica' treating the origins and nature of Law, human, natural, and divine law/5.

Treatise on Law is Thomas Aquinas ' major work of legal philosophy. It forms questions 90– of the Prima Secundæ ("First [Part] of the Second [Part]") of the Summa Theologiæ, Aquinas' masterwork of Scholastic philosophical theology. Along with Aristotelianism, it forms the basis for the legal theory of Catholic canon law.   This treatise is the preeminent treatise on water law. This treatise covers riparian rights, prior appropriation, groundwater law, the public right to use water in place, Federal and Indian rights, interstate water allocation, international waters and environmental controls. An index, tables of cases, and tables of statutes provide assistance.

The First Treatise is an extended attack on Sir Robert Filmer 's Patriarcha. Locke's argument proceeds along two lines: first, he undercuts the Scriptural support that Filmer had offered for his thesis, and second he argues that the acceptance of Filmer's thesis can lead only to slavery (and absurdity).Author: John Locke.
